Duties of a Manatee County Republican Executive Committee Member

• Attend monthly REC meetings, participate in sub-committee meetings as appropriate and perform all statutory and by-laws duties.

• Serve as Precinct Committeeman/woman in your residential precinct based on Republican voter registration.

• Maintain a precinct organization and advise the Chairman of potential projects and concerns of voters in the precinct.

• Inform precinct members and registered voters of the Republican platform to increase Republican voter registration and membership development of the Republican Party.

• Assist and support REC fundraising activities.  REC member's assistance and support is vital in attending the Lincoln Day dinner and other fundraising efforts such as outreach projects, picnics, rallies, and events.

• Encourage Republican voter participation and turn-out in all levels of government and elections.

• Volunteer to help Manatee County achieve assigned election year goals by participating in headquarter activities: volunteer recruitment, phone-banking, door-walking, voter registration, absentee & early vote turn-out.

• Encourage registered Republicans in the precinct to participate in Republican activities, Manatee County REC meetings, REC membership development and other activities such as:

  • Walking door-to-door for candidates
  • MCREC activities
  • RPOF sponsored events
  • Work with RPOF Regional Field Coordinator
  • Manatee County Fair Booth Committee
  • Heritage Festival Float Committee
  • Minority Outreach Committees
  • Lincoln Day Dinner Committee
  • Support local Republican Clubs
  • Fundraising

• Show support and enthusiasm for the Party and encourage Republicans in precincts to become active on a year-round basis!
