Manatee County Republican Executive Committee ResolutionSupporting Fair Primary Elections in Florida
The Manatee County Republican Executive Committee supports a fair primary process in Florida.
We oppose all efforts that may disenfranchise Republican primary voters.
The Manatee County Republican Executive Committee believes in the primary election process, the right of primary candidates to run for election, the right of Republican voters to elect the Republican general election candidate, and, the right of grassroots Republicans to engage in the campaign of a candidate of their choice and to work to get that candidate elected in the primary election process.
We believe the healthy debate of issues, competition and examination of each candidate’s vision is the fundamental right of the Florida primary voter and ultimately strengthens our great Republican Party and nation.
Adopted by the Manatee Republican Executive Committee, with a quorum present, on the 22nd Day of June, 2009.
